Our teachers try to enrich each child's school experience with field trips that give meaning to our curriculum. One field trip per grade level was agreed upon throughout the district to provide consistency in instruction. Our teachers have always planned extra field trips that they felt were important for learning. Knowing that we do want to provide this enrichment for your children, we ask for donations to fund the field trips.
We ask for parent volunteers to chaperone field trips. To assure all parents that they children are in good hands, we ask that chaperones who will be alone with children at any time, be fingerprinted. Our school secretary has the forms and information that you need for fingerprinting. Your willingness to be fingerprinted is greatly appreciated.
