Welcome to First Grade! This year will be an exciting and fun adventure.  We will learn many new things, make lots of friends, and learn to become more independent.  Our first grade teachers work together as a team.  We believe that it is important to look at the child as a whole, and that education is more than just reading, writing, and math.  We make sure that children have many opportunities to move about, enjoy the arts, and have chances to work on their social skills.  I look forward to working with you and your children.  We are going to have a great year!
