Welcome to Kindergarten! This year will be an exciting and fun adventure. We will learn many new things, make lots of friends, and learn to become more independent. Our kindergarten teachers work together as a team. We believe that it is important to look at the child as a whole, and that education is more than just reading, writing, and math. We make sure that children have many opportunities to move about, enjoy the arts, and have chances to work on their social skills. We are going to have a great year!
Our class Library visit is always on Tuesday AM. Please help your child to remember to return their book by Monday or Tuesday morning so that they can choose a new one!
Full day Kindergarten will start on Monday, September 18th from 8:45am - 3:00pm.
Thursday FoldersEach week we will send home a folder on Thursdays (Wednesday if there is no school on Friday). It is full of your child's work from the week and any important notices. Please take a few moments to go through the papers with your child and ask them about their work. Return the folder to school on the next school day. Your child will earn stickers for returning their folder on time.
