Daily reading to and with your child is the main homework in T.K.  As you do nightly reading, please fill out the Reading Log form and have your child turn it in each Friday for a sticker.  In addition to reading, I will be sending home a monthly calendar for students to practice counting, patterning, and days of the week. We will be making many books throughout the year.  I encourage you to read these with your child.  Later in the year, small pre-decodable books will be sent home as well.  Occasionally there will be an additional, simple, homework activity that may involve counting or something related to the theme which we are studying at the time.  If so, I will either send a note or an email to inform parents.
