Homework
Homework comes home in our Thursday folder at the beginning of each week. It is due back at the end of the week. Homework is voluntary, except for reading.

Homework comes home on Monday in our homework folders. Students are asked to read for 20 minutes each night. This is the only MANDATORY part of the homework, however, each night there is a math assignment and lessons to complete on IXL and Reflex that correspond to the lessons that we are doing in class. These are all optional, though they are very helpful to students in achieving fluency with math facts. Homework comes back to school, in the folder, on Friday.

Once a month I also like to send home a family project. It is usually a fun project that you can complete together as a family. This is also optional, though my students and their parents have enjoyed working on these together.
