Important Dates & Upcoming Events


2016-17 School Year

 Below are a list of events and dates.  They are subject to change and will be updated if any changes are made. 

July 23: Food Trucks to the Rescue! - Families are invited to attend a community event  from 5:00pm-9:00pm at the Bass Lake Golf Course.  There will be food trucks, live music, a raffle and much more!

Aug 16: General membership meeting—held in the Staff Lounge at 7:00pm.  All are encouraged and welcome.

Sept 9: Grandparents' Breakfast—Students are encouraged to invite their grandparents to school for a continental style breakfast, before school. Please RSVP if you wish to attend. 

Sept 20: General membership meeting—held in the Staff Lounge at 7:00pm.  All are encouraged and welcome.

Oct 7:  Harvest Festival—Annual fall festival, complete with carnival games, music, and food.

Oct 18: General membership meeting—held in the Staff Lounge at 7:00pm.  All are encouraged and welcome.

Nov 1 through Dec 2: See's Candy Sales—annual sales fundraiser. Students and their families are encouraged to sell See's Candy (delivered in time for holiday gifts, at Santa's Pancake Breakfast). Prizes are awarded to the students and classes with the highest sales.

Nov 10: Veterans Day Breakfast—Family and community member veterans are invited to a continental breakfast before school. Student performances and artwork are shared/displayed.

Nov 15: General membership meeting—held in the Staff Lounge at 7:00pm.  All are encouraged and welcome.

Dec 10: Santa's Pancake Breakfast—Santa and his elves arrive via firetruck for breakfast, raffle, and photo opportunities. Rescue Volunteer Firefighters assist us in making breakfast, and See's Candy pick-up is available.

Jan 17: General membership meeting—held in the Staff Lounge at 7:00pm.  All are encouraged and welcome. 

Feb 21: General membership meeting—held in the Staff Lounge at 7:00pm.  All are encouraged and welcome.

Feb 24: Father-Daughter Dance—a themed dance with photo opportunities, a keepsake, and refreshments, for fathers/grandfathers/father-figures, held in the MP Room.

Mar 10: Talent Show—student talent show, held in the MP Room. The event returned to the Rescue campus in the 2014-15 school year.  Continuation of the talent show will depend on student interest and parent volunteers.

Mar 21: General membership meeting—held in the Staff Lounge at 7:00pm.  All are encouraged and welcome.

Apr 18: General membership meeting—held in the Staff Lounge at 7:00pm.  All are encouraged and welcome.

May 5: Chomp & Stomp/Open House—following Open House, there will be food vendors, music, paid activities, and a raffle.

May 16: General membership meeting—held in the Staff Lounge at 7:00pm.  All are encouraged and welcome.

May 19: Kindergarten Field Day—end-of-year celebration for students. Parent volunteers lead students in races and team activities.

May 25: Field Day—end-of-year celebration for students. Parent volunteers lead students in races and team activities.
